We had IMC and Gym today. We came back to class and took our spelling pretest and filled out our weekly homework. We reviewed nouns in grammar and spent some time identifying common nouns in sentences. We introduced the vocabulary for this story: legendary, muttered, gaped, snickering, insult, fluke and flinched. We also discussed author's purpose, this week's comprehension skill. We listened to the story, "Mighty Jackie." We even squeezed in time for handwriting.
