We're treasuring these last few days of nice weather...I'm sure Fall is going to be here soon!
LA: We weren't able to go to computer lab this morning due to some testing that was taking place, so we stayed in our room and had some "centers." We were able to send some friends to the ELA for typing, while others stayed in the room and read leveled readers. We also worked on some grammar review and spelling proofreading. We enjoyed a visit with our first grade reading buddies as well. We're really enjoying our read aloud-NO TALKING. The students even tried to get away with only saying three word phrases all through Vocabulary Vine. We quickly found out this is a whole lot harder than it sounds.
HW: Weekly homework is due tomorrow. Please, please, please send in your donations that you signed up for if you haven't already! Be sure to look for the baskets on display tomorrow night at the Fall Carnival.
Math: We took the Math MAP test today in the computer lab. All the students did AMAZING!
HW: None--be sure to be studying for Monday's unit 2 test.
Social Studies: (Woods) The chapter 2 test was given today.
HW: None
