Sorry about not blogging last night...sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day! :)
Many thanks to those of you that have sent in supplies for Dr. Pepper. We are still "stocking" our shelf if you are planning a trip to the pet store in the near future.
Don't forget! Tomorrow is the last day to sign up to golf or have dinner with us at the Make-A-Wish Fundraiser this Sunday at Juday Creek! We hope to see you there!
LA: We had a long morning this morning. The computer lab is still closed for testing so we used that chunk of time for writing. We had a great time writing persuasive letters to people convincing them of something. Watch for these heart tugging letters to come home soon! We also didn't get to visit with our reading buddies today because they were at the Planetarium...so we were able to catch up on a lot of other stuff too. We got in some grammar, still reviewing proper nouns, read aloud, reading the story with partners, author's purpose and handwriting.
HW: Finish persuasive letter, author's purpose page and WH-it's all due tomorrow!
Math: We worked on our multiplication facts again today by practicing with fact triangles.
HW: Journal page 61, math box 3.5 and study link 3.5 are all due tomorrow.
Social Studies: (Grannan) We worked in our pairs to create our collage pieces today representing the groups that are being discussed in chapter 3. We have some amazing artists in class.
HW: Finish collage pieces and bring them back on Monday.
