What A Day!

We're eagerly anticipating the yellow tape coming off the new rock climbing wall on the playground! Only one more day!

LA: We worked more with run on sentences today and how to turn those into compound and complex sentences. We also spent some time with our Vocabulary Vine program, learning 3 new roots this morning. Students were also given time to work on the stories they started in computer lab, along with our writing project and accelerated reading tests.

HW: Fluency and flow is due Friday. Assessments will be given on Friday as well, including the spelling test. Book orders are due Friday! Don't forget that all book projects are due on October 10th. There is an example in the office with Mrs. Stuckey if you need to see the expectations.

Math: We spent quite a bit of time reviewing multi-digit addition and subtraction. We also learned about Accelerated Math today! Most kids are super excited about this new opportunity!

HW: Finish the review packet. Unit 2 test is on Thursday.

Health: We reviewed yesterday's section of reading and shared lesson 3 together today. It was all about feelings and what to do with them!

HW: Questions 1-5 on page 29 are due tomorrow. Chapter 1 test will be given on Friday.
