90 Shopping Days Left...

Whew! Another week is past us! I can't believe how fast our days are flying by!

LA: Today was our assessment day! We made it through all the assessments with time to spare. I think the anxiety is finally getting less and less, and the kids are handling these tasks with better ease!

HW: There were a few students who said they forgot their book orders today...please send them Monday. I will be calling it in after school! Don't forget, we are in crunch time for the reading projects--they are due on October 10th!

Math: We had centers today. This gave us a great opportunity to work on Accelerated Math, Tux Math, and a couple of math games.

HW: None

Health: Today was Mrs. Suddarth's class last day in Health for this rotation! We had the chapter 1 test today.

HW: When students receive their tests on Monday, they will need to get them signed and returned.

Here's some exciting news: Next Friday, we will be participating in No Child Left Inside day which is a nation wide initiative to get kids outside! We have lots of fun activities planned for the day! We will be participating in a read aloud, book making project, playing a game and also doing some sketching and writing outdoors. I can't wait. We still have a few time slots to fill, so if you have any great ideas about outdoor activities, I would love to hear about them! We're going to have a great day!

I hope everyone has a great, relaxing weekend!

Go Notre Dame! Go Kingsmen!
