Another week has come and gone...I can't believe how fast time is flying! In just a couple of weeks, we will be doing our ISTEP+ testing. This is a very intense couple of days, with lots of testing. If you know that your child is going to be gone any part of the week from September 15th-19th, please let me know as soon as possible.
LA: Today was the dreaded, yet productive assessment day. We worked through our selection assessment, grammar, spelling and weekly tests this morning.
HW: Please take some time this weekend for your reading projects. October 10th is going to be here before you know it. Students were reminded today to choose books wisely in the IMC if they've not started on this yet.
Math: Today we had centers. Students got a chance to play Multiplication Baseball, which helps with fact memorization, Tux Math on the computer and doing a telling time review sheet. We finished our time together with a group game of Around the World.
*If you are in my homeroom class, please see/share the note regarding supplies needed for a couple of math lessons next week. We are in need of small boxes of raisins, or other healthy treats that we can do estimating and graphing with.
HW: None
Health--Today was the chapter 1 test. This was also the last day of Health for this nine weeks. On Monday, students will be going to Science Class with Ms. Grannan.
HW: None
Things to look for in the blue folder this weekend:
*The note about Dr. Pepper's supplies.
*Saturday Enrichment forms
*WSTAR application forms.
Don't forget fund-raiser packets are due back to school on Monday.
Go Notre Dame!
