We really enjoyed having Mr. Starkel here with us today from Bethel College. He spent the day observing us for some of his field work through his college courses.
LA: We had a fantastic visit with Mr. Glassman this morning learning all about the soils of Indiana. Who knew dirt could be so interesting? We also spent more time working in our grammar packets and sharing our read aloud story.
HW: Grammar packets are due tomorrow
Math: Today, students took a standards based assessment over topics that we've covered from the first quarter of school. This gives me great insight into what we need to continue to review and what we can leave for a while before circling back and hitting again!
HW: None
Health: I was pleased to welcome my homeroom kids back to Health today, I've really missed them! We started right into chapter 2 today talking about different kinds of families. It was interesting to learn about the make up of our families and the roles we each play in them.
HW: Chapter 2, lesson 1 check up 1-3 done in complete sentences is due tomorrow.
