Ravishing In Red!

We were a sea of red today!

LA: We had an even shorter LA than usual today due to Bus Safety Day. We were able to get through morning work and then pass back some papers in preparation for next week's parent teacher conferences!

We also had a special presentation from 3 Harris Township Firefighters regarding Bus Safety. We saw a short presentation in the gym, and then went outside to practice our safety drills on the bus!

HW: Fluency and flow is due Friday, along with all assessments.

Math: We worked really hard on decimals today and reviewing what was learned yesterday. We did quite a few example problems on how to name decimals and write them correctly.

HW: Math box and study link 4.2, along with the extra practice sheet are all due tomorrow.

Health: Today we reviewed the important vocabulary words from yesterday's lessons and also went onto lesson 4 from chapter 2. Students have a challenge...they need to correctly be able to pronounce the tricky names that make up the parts of the brain!

HW: The packet is due Thursday, due to Art Smart tomorrow.

Things to remember:
Wear white tomorrow for Red Ribbon Week
Tomorrow is Art Smart for my homeroom class
We are still collecting box tops for education
We are having a special slipper day on Friday, hoping to achieve our goal for Tami, the snow leopard!

Things to watch for in blue folders tonight:
The next round of study buddies is accepting students!
Content "Goodies" from the first nine weeks of school! These are all tests/assessments/quizzes that you should have previously seen. These are now yours to keep!
