It's Columbus Day!

We are faced with a new week! This is going to be a busy one!

We had a very special visitor today, Amazon John, from the Silly Safaris program. What an awesome way to learn all about science. We had a chance to see an interact with an alligator, an African hawk, a large toad, really gross hissing cockroaches, a rat, a python, and a kikachoo (I'm sure I spelled that wrong!) It was a lot of fun! Check out the pictures at the bottom to see!

LA: We had a short day today due to our special assembly! We are not doing a basal story this week due to our crazy schedule this week! We finished up cereal box presentations, (with the exception of 2) and worked a bit in our grammar packets.

HW: Grammar packets are due Friday. There will be class time given to work on these pages. The weekly test is due tomorrow with a parent's signature. Conference papers came home today. Please sign and return to school as soon as possible.

Math: We had a very brief math time today...only 20 minutes. We spent time working on white boards with double digit multiplication.

HW: Unit 3 test is Wednesday

Health: Students worked in pairs on the chapter review today.

HW: Chapter 1 test is tomorrow. Chapter review, 1-32 is due tomorrow as well.

A Look Ahead At Our Week:
*Wednesday is PBA Day. This is a time where the teachers have to go to meetings. Enjoy sleeping in and we'll see you at 10:10.
*Mr. Glassman will be here to visit with my LA class on Thursday morning.
*Stuffed Animal day is Friday. Bring at least $1.00 to support Northpoint's goal to adopt a snow leopard.
*Fall Festival is Friday night from 6:30-8:30
