I'm making a pledge to get better at blogging...I've been kinda slacking lately! So sorry!
Although we were all a bit glassy eyed from staying up late for the game, we had a great Monday at Northpoint.
Don't forget that our Stars in Service is selling Gum Grams Tuesday and Wednesday in all ELA's. They are 2/$1.
LA: We introduced our new story this morning, Adelina's Whales. With the story, we started working with possessive pronouns, sequence of events, and the story vocabulary. We also carved out some time for silent reading to help reach our goal for the I Love To Read Challenge. Congratulations to Jenna, Darby and Alex for winning last week's raffle. We are still in need of some raffle prizes as well.
HW: Spelling test will be given on Friday. Don't forget that the expectation is that instead of weekly homework, all students are reading at least an average of 30 minutes per night.
Math: Are our kitchens efficient? We had a great time today working with work triangles and figuring our if our kitchens in our homes are considered efficient or not. We worked together to find perimeters-it was a lot of fun!
HW: Math box and study link 8.1 are due tomorrow.
Social Studies: (Grannan) We took the chapter 8 test today.
HW: None
