I think we're officially back into the swing of things...it seemed more like routine today and we weren't quite as sleepy as yesterday!
LA: We had a busy morning, as usual! We continued our work on Snowflake Bently, working on main ideas and details. We also completed a worksheet on summarizing information that we have read and highlighting where we found the answers in the passage. We finished our morning with vocabulary vine.
HW: Don't forget the wax museum is taking place tomorrow morning! Be prepared!
Math: Fraction Fun today! We jumped into unit 7, which has us reviewing and learning more about fractions. Today we had fun reviewing the parts of a fraction, how they are written, and how to draw and color in parts of a whole.
HW: Math box and study link 7.1 are due tomorrow.
Social Studies: (Grannan) We started chapter 7 today, which is continuing to teach us about the southeast region of the United States. We talked about the elevation of the region and also the rivers and ocean found there as well.
HW: A look ahead...this is a short chapter, the unit 7 test will be given next Thursday!
