Wacky Wednesday

We had a bit of a wacky Wednesday due to MAP testing in some classes today.  We spent an extra long time in LA, which allowed us to get a lot of novel study work done!  :)

LA: We took our quiz over chapters 1-4 and also did a writing journal in Matt's point of view.  We also moved forward onto chapters 5-6, reading them together and going over our figurative language terms.  This afternoon when we were together for our second half, we reviewed many of our figurative language terms with Mrs. Eggleston's lesson.  We had a lot of fun creating a term flip book to use as review.

HW: MAP TESTING TOMORROW!  Students are encouraged to bring mint flavored gum!  Vocabulary (3), comprehension questions (3) and figurative language terms (3) are all due tomorrow.  Most students completed this in class.  The language boxes are also due tomorrow.

Math: We continued on in lesson 11 today, learning about geometric shapes.  We focused on spheres, cylinders, rectangular prisms, square pyramids, cones and triangular prisms.

HW: Math box and study link 11.2 are due tomorrow

Social Studies: No content today due to our wacky schedule.
