D.E.W. Your Best Tuesday!

We enjoyed D.E.W. time at 10:20 this morning! Don't forget...tomorrow is picture re-take day! If you are planning on having pictures re-taken, the original package of pictures must be returned.

LA: What a busy morning. We had a great time reading about Cobble's Knot in Manaic Magee, we took our next quiz and went over our chapters from yesterday! Students had a great time Dropping Everything and Writing (D.E.W) during Music with Mrs. Hill today--it was interesting to read just what was on everyone's mind at 10:20 on 10/20!

HW: Chapter 19-21 comprehension questions and journal entries are due tomorrow. We will also have a vocabulary quiz over the words from Part 1 in our novel tomorrow morning.

Math: More fraction fun today! It was fun to explore mixed numbers using pattern blocks with our partners today!

HW: Page 129, math box and study link 5.2 are due tomorrow. There was also an extra sheet assigned today!

Social Studies: Welcome back Home Room Friends! We jumped into chapter 3 today, which was about American Indians settling into different regions of the United States. Today, we specifically concentrated on the Northwest Region of the United States.

HW: None

Next week is RED RIBBON WEEK! Our theme this year is "All" Stars Say No To Drugs! The committee has some fun events planned for us...please take note:
  • Monday is hat day!
  • Tuesday is athletic gear day! Play to wear your favorite sweats suit, jogging suit or something of the sort. We will have a special visit from some of the Notre Dame cheerleaders and the mascot!
  • Wednesday is jersey day! Don't have a jersey? That's okay, wear a t-shirt supporting your favorite sports team!
  • Thursday is wear red day!
