It was a great day to review our bus safety rules and drills this afternoon! We watched a very informative video on just what to do in an emergency while on a school bus, then went outside to practice safety drills and getting off the bus safely.
LA: We spent some more time with our Maniac Magee books, reading chapters 25-27 together as a class. Its been fun to watch the progression on the main characters and continue to watch them grow and change as we get closer to finishing up our novel.
HW: Chapters 25-27 are due tomorrow. Don't forget, typed writing is also due first thing tomorrow morning.
Math: We had a shortened math class today because of Bus Safety Day, but it gave us just enough time to review how to make equivalent fractions.
HW: Math box and study link 5.4 are due tomorrow. There were also problems on the board that need to be turned in tomorrow at the beginning of class.
Social Studies: Bus Safety Day

It is bittersweet to let everyone know that tomorrow will be my last day until we return after Winter Break. Mr. Woods and I will be welcoming our new son into our lives on Tuesday morning! I can't even begin to say how much I am going to miss everyone while I am gone, but am looking forward to checking in with Mrs. Auter often to check up on everyone's progress. I know everyone is going to do their best, I'll miss you!
