The Weather Outside is Frightful...

Wow! Our semester is coming to a quick end here. It officially ends next Friday, December 19th. As that date approaches, we have many things going on! Grab your calendars and write down these important dates:

  • December 10th (Tomorrow!)--Mini Mall proposals are due
  • December 11th-Sponsor A Family items are due (We have many friends who have not brought an item, please let me know if you need someone else to bring in something in place of yours!)
  • December 11th-Stars in Service Meeting
  • December 12th-My Reading class-Treasure boxes due
  • December 16th-Last day of Social Studies
  • December 17th-Art Smart
  • December 18th-Mini Mall
  • December 19th-Giving Celebration-Last day of the semester
LA: Today we worked on sorting spelling words and using our context clues to figure out the meaning of our spelling words. We also reread the story with partners while filling out a Venn Diagram about the facts from our story this week.

HW: Fluency and flow is due Friday

Math: Coordinate grids galore today! Be sure to ask your child to show you the difference between the X axis and the Y axis. They should also be able to plot points on a graph.

HW: Pages 162-163 and the Snoopy Graph picture are due tomorrow.

Health: Surprise! Pop quiz over sections 1-4 in chapter 3 today! This took many of the students the entire time. Some read lesson 5, which we will review tomorrow.

HW: None
