Welcome Back!

All these tanned faces! I'm jealous! I hope everyone had a delightful Spring Break, are well rested and ready to jump right back into the swing of things.

We have some very busy weeks coming up! Please make sure you know when your child's testing happens...there were papers sent home right before Spring Break with our schedules on them! Please take careful note, there's a lot going on!

LA: We had a fantastic and very busy morning! We got a lot done, especially since we didn't have computer lab today due to MAP testing! We introduced our new story, Me and Uncle Romie. With this story, we are learning more about context clues, realistic genre, and more adjectives that compare. We also had a great time writing about our Spring Break vacations.

HW: Fluency and flow is due Friday, along with the spelling test. Also-our MATH MAP testing will be taken on Wednesday. We will take this as a LA class.

Math: We introduced transparent mirrors today. The students had a fantastic time exploring and experimenting different ways to make them work. Be sure to check out their clown art work that we created using these fun new mirrors.

HW: Journal page 292 is due tomorrow, as well as math box and study link 10.1

Health: Welcome Mrs. Suddarth's class! We had a great time talking about infectious and non infectious diseases.

HW: Chapter 5 lesson check up, 1-4, must be done in cursive complete sentences

Things to watch for tonight:
